 ignored in certain quarters. I would have discouraged his
 buying them in the first place, knowing the animal protection
 complications (technically for 4 mice we should have had
 a veterinarian on payroll!) Well, getting free was what
 they wanted. I hope they enjoyed it before the predators
 got them.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05

      Title: Hot Dog Chop Suey
 Categories: Stews, Hot dogs
      Yield: 1 Servings

      1 c  Chicken broth
     16 oz Frozen mixed Chinese
           -vegetables OR 1 can (16-oz)
           -mixed Chinese vegetables,
           -drained
      1 c  Celery, diagonally sliced
      1 c  Sliced onion
      3 c  Shredded cabbage or Chinese
           -cabbage
      1 lb Chicken or turkey frankfur-
           -ters, slice on diagonal
      3 T  Dry sherry
    1/2 c  Water or chicken broth
      3 T  Soy sauce
  1 1/2 T  Cornstarch

    Combine broth, Chinese vegetables, celery, onions and cabbage in
  skillet. Heat to boiling; cover and simmer about 5 minutes until
  tender-crisp.
    Add sliced frankfurters; cook, stirring until mixture returns to
  boiling.
    Combine sherry, water, soy sauce and cornstarch smoothly. Add to
  skillet mixture, stirring as you pour. Heat, stirring until mixture
  bubbles and thickens.
