We spent the holiday around home. Steve hung some pictures and a rack
for my quilts in the living room.  Once the quilt is hung, the room will
really come together.  He's grilling lamb chops and fennel for supper
(along with Penn. Dutch potato salad) in a bit.

We've had the tv off and on, watched a couple of Giada's Everyday
Italian, some CNN, a bit of the NASA channel showing a robot competition
for school kids in HI, etc.  They had a taiko drum team there and a
robotics team from Poland competing.

I presume the Navy has a web site similar to the US.Army.mil; you could

Hey, if it's food she likes, no quibbles about what it is.  I made
pumpernickel rye (in the bread machine) today but had to omit the
instant coffee it called for as I had none.  The cocoa powder was some
Hershey's Special Dark so the bread has a nice dark brown color.

Or nice extra sharp cheddar cheese.  Ask her if she's ever had warm
