 Well, if I had seen an error message during
 compression, I wouldn't have downloaded the
 packet, so maybe my problem was, in fact, a
 transmission error. Not whatever problem you
 fixed later.

 Part of my point of responding was to alert people
 who might have asked me questions recently that I
 might have lost their responses to the bad packet.

 What else can I do when the mouse and keyboard
 have frozen, but reboot?!! I do try to be rule-
 bound on a BBS, I worry that unauthorized exits
 can cause lock-ups. I do appreciate your system
 gives escape instructions for when I have tried
 to upload a reply packet which doesn't exist.
 (I have never run a BBS, but I have done emergency
 work on one run by a PC-Users Group; as Secretary
 and mail-runner, I used to activate the screen of
 the BBS computer every time I was in the Office.
 If I saw irregularities, or if there were
 complaints on the answering machine, I would call
 one of the sysops for instructions or just reboot
 and make sure the system stayed operable. That can
 take a few hours out of your day!)

      Title: Breakfast Quiche Cups
 Categories: Breakfast, Cheese/eggs
      Yield: 4 Servings

MMMMM---------------------------CREPES--------------------------------
      1    Egg, slightly beaten
    3/4 c  Milk
      2 t  Maxim 100% Freeze-dried
           -Coffee
    1/2 t  Sugar
    1/2 c  All-pupose flour
  1 1/2 t  Oil
    1/8 t  Salt

MMMMM------------------------QUICHE CUPS-----------------------------
      8    Crepes
      4    Bacon slices, cooked and
           -crumbled
      8 oz Cream cheese, softened
      2 T  Milk
      2    Eggs, slightly beaten
    1/4 c  Grated Swiss cheese
      2 T  Chopped chives or scallions
    1/8 t  Pepper

  TO MAKE THE CREPES: Combine egg, milk, instant coffee and sugar in
  bowl. Add flour, oil and salt, beat until smooth. Using 2 tablespoons
  batter for each crepe, bake in hot, lightly-greased 6-inch skillet
  until brown on both sides. Makes 8 crepes. To save time, crepes can
  be pre-made and frozen or refrigerated.
  TO MAKE QUICHE CUPS: Place crepes in 8 lightly greased muffin pans,
  press lightly to fit and fold over edges. Divide half the bacon among
  the crepes. Beat cream cheese with milk and eggs until smooth and
  blended. Add remaining ingredients and spoon over bacon in cups,
  using about 2 tablespoons for each.
    Bake at 375 F for 20 minutes, until set. Garnish with remaining
  bacon and serve.
