  Hopefully your rental agent kept hold of their security deposit.
  That should help some.  I'd also hope that the repairs might be
  deductable from income as a rental property expense --  but that might
  be iffy since they will be done after it is no longer a rental
  property.

  I'm aware of home & garden and will add it later tonight when I get to
  my main computer.  Right now I am playing catch-up on my laptop while
  watching TV.   We just got back from a coach tour of Western PA.

  We currently belong to both BJs and Sams.  We shop much more often at
  BJs since it is close.  Sams does have a few things that BJs does not
  and vice versa.   A new Cosco just opened up which is about the same
  distance as BJs.   I expect that we will drop the Sams membership as
  being the most redundant.

   I.e. boneless pork chops?   We often get those.  They are great
   grilled.   They also have full pork loins in cryovac packs at about
   the same price.   These often run 8 pounds or more, and we cut them
   into pieces as pork roasts and freeze them.   I like their steaks and
   hamburger also.

   The roasted chickens are good also.  At $5.99 per 2 3/4 pound bird, a
   decent buy and it lasts us for several meals.

      Title: Crock-Pot Potato-Cheese Soup
 Categories: Soup, Crockpot
      Yield: 8 servings
 
      8    Potatoes, cubed
      1 tb Chives, chopped
  1 1/2 c  Chopped celery
    1/3 c  Chopped parsley
    1/2 c  Chopped onion
    1/4 ts Paprika
    1/4 ts Celery seed
      1 ts Savory
    1/2 ts Salt
      1 c  Milk
      2 tb Flour
      2 tb Butter
  2 1/2 c  Grated chedder cheese
 
  Place potatoes, chives, celery, parsley, onion, paprika, clery seed,
  savory and salt in a slow cooker and add just enough water to barely
  cover. Cook on high one hour. Turn heat to low and cook 4-5 hours or
  until potatoes are done. Combine milk and flour in a tightly covered
  jar and shake to blend evenly. In a small saucepan, melt butter over
  medium heat. Add flout mixture slowly, and stir constantly 3-4
  minutes. Add cheese; stir until melted. Turn crock-pot to high
  setting. Add cheese mixture to soup and cook until slighly thickened.
  Serve hot in bowls and garnish with chives, sour cream or bacon bits.
