Ooh, I've done brown rice in the oven before.  It comes out pretty good that
way too, but takes a little too long.  Good if you have time, though.

I really don't know.  Maybe one day I'll hook a kill-a-watt up to the microwave
and see what it says. :)  I think I could hook it up to my oven too.

I'll have to keep an eye on the recipes here.  My wife and I are always trying
to figure out new things to make.  I'm a big rice/pasta/bread person, so
usually anything makes me happy if I can work rice into it.

That's the kind I have right now too.  We used to buy Bertoli, but then one day
noticed the Pompei kind was a little cheaper, but looked about the same.
Taste-wise, I can't tell the difference, so it works for me.  Maybe one day if
I have money to blow I'll go for the super duper stuff, but right now, I'm fine
with what we have.  I use it pretty sparingly anyway.

Interesting.  I bet that makes for some good chickens and such. :)

Thanks for the pointers.  I'll keep an eye out for him and see what he has to
say about them.
