I have pretty much decided to stick with Doc's (I am a financial backer, 
after all) now that he is back in Sunny Floridy and pretty stable. IIRC 
I was one of the first to use Doc's and enticed others to "come on 
down". Then went walkabout trying out other boards ... which either died 
on me, got their plugs pulled, or became terminally unreliable.

Now if I could just get my life and priorities arranged to a point where 
I do my posting daily instead of these might efforts to clear out the 
backlog. It certainly would promote continuity.   Bv)=

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Shrimp Stock
 Categories: Emeril, Seafood, Shrimp, Basics
      Yield: 3 Quarts
 
      8 c  Raw shrimp heads & shells
           - (from 1 lb lg shrimp)
      2    Onions; peeled, halved, 
           - sliced
      2    Ribs celery; chopped
      2    Lemons; halved
      8    Bay leaves
    1/2 c  Chopped fresh parsley
      1 ts Dried leaf basil
      1 ts Dried leaf thyme
      1 ts Dried leaf tarragon
      1 ts Dried leaf oregano
    3/4 ts Whole black peppercorns
      2 ts Salt
      4 qt Water; cold or room temp
 
  Rinse the shrimp heads and shells quickly under cold water, and place
  them in a stockpot with the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil
  over high heat. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
  Turn the heat up to medium and cook for 30 minutes. Allow to cool
  thoroughly, strain and refrigerate.

  Keeps for 1 month.
  
  Yield: 3 quarts
