I usually go for the few wines I am fairly familiar with, but I'll start
looking for some shiraz and give it a try!

At that level of consumption I would think there would be little doubt that
he has reached that goal already!
I probably drink less than 6 bottles of wine a year, but I am trying to
drink a bit more pinot noir which is supposed to be good for my heart!

When I last went north to visit my friends, I took about 8 or 9 bottles of
wine as gifts for them...and I was questioned about it ( I also had a full
photographic darkroom loaded in my van as well) and sent on my merry way
with all my cargo intact! I don't think I took any scotch along on that
trip.

Well the value of the dollar certainly affects my travel plans (grin)! Of
course with petrol approaching $4 a gallon I may not have anything left to
travel with anyway!
