That seems to be working.  [Hey, Burt, how does that look to you?]  You
probably don't need to shorten your lines so much, though.  It depends
on how many times you expect to include quotes of quotes of quotes.  :)

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Tasty Drumsticks
 Categories: Australian, Chicken
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
      2 T  Canola oil
     70 g  Bacon, diced
      8    Chicken drumsticks (1 kg)
      1 md Onion, chopped
      4 cl Garlic, crushed and chopped
      1    Carrot, diced
      3 md Tomatoes, chopped
    150 g  Okra, sliced
      2 T  Tomato paste
      1 ts Tumeric
      1 T  Mixed herbs
      2 ts Coarse black pepper
      1 ts Majoram
      1 lg Glass dry red wine
      1 c  Chicken stock
    200 g  Cauliflower
    200 g  Broccoli
           Salt to taste
 
  Gently fry the bacon pieces until crisp, and remove and keep. Remove
  skin from chicken drumsticks and brown drumsticks in the bacon fat
  and remove. Saute onion, garlic and carrot until translucent. Add
  bacon. Add okra and stir fry.  Add tomato and stir fry until mushy.
  Add tomato paste and tumeric and stir. When the mass thickens under
  the influence of the okra, add the glass of wine (or two, if you
  like), and the chicken stock. Add mixed herbs and majoram and pepper
  and stir in. Return drumsticks to the pan and simmer for 20 minutes.
  Add florets of cauliflower and broccoli and simmer until cooked, but
  crisp.
  
  Serve with fresh bread suitable for mopping the gravy.
