I agree wholeheartedly, and have two wine 
stores that I frequent when I buy wines...
which is infrequently (grin)! Both have 
good staffpeople to assist me in 
finding just the right wine!

and I do like water quite a bit! Today 
is Thanksgiving and along with the 
rest of the feast, we'll be having 
a Gruet 2005 pinot noir from New

Sensible, and easy enough to do when you are
eating in a restaurant and can buy by the glass, 
or share a bottle among several people. I drink 
little, and Anne drinks even less than I do. So 
when we dine out I'll often order a single glass, 
and she'll have iced tea. If we are with friends
I can share a bottle with them.

I have had box wine before and here in the 
US, most box wines are of the lower 
quality, and while certainly drinkable
are not that interesting. As little as I 
drink, I might as well enjoy better 
quality when I do! (grin). It's the 
same with my Scotch...I don't drink
much of it so I buy the best I can
afford and enjoy it immensely!
