I don't recall them being much different than your rendition.  They can clearly
be heard through a solid wood door and 20 feet away as they munch dried
catfood.
Takes a bit of time to learn to sleep though it <g>.

Yup!  Last one did rather well overall!  Not as fond of his son, but that's a 
tale for a later day.
