We try for dinner around then too; sometimes it's a few minutes over.
Breakfast time, Steve fends for himself as he has to eat & get out the
door early.  Lunch varies but usually he comes home and either raids
the fridge or I've got something ready or other options are used.  Of
course week ends throws everything into a different game plan. (G)

The Navy didn't even give Steve the time of day when he inquired with
them.  Of course he was pushing 30 and had a wife & 2 kids then.
Overall, the Army has been a good choice tho the food is not as gourmet
as the Navy.

I don't know that much about him (age, years cooking where, etc) to say
one way or another.  He did do the wedding cake for Diana and Charles so
he's been around a while. He can be a bit tyrannical in the kitchen (but
not like Gordon Ramsey from what I read) but you also see his human side
in his show--as when he forgets the word "tomatoes" in describing what
one sous chef is cutting up.

 HN> He was,  but he was a tough taskmaster as well, he's cooks
 HN> knew to jump when he started yelling orders!
 HN> But every one of them that worked under him became

Easy enough to see why. They would do well in the civilian world too.
