Boy that's a short visit! too bad she couldn't stay over the whole holiday

I just try to keep it interesting. When I make a wrap for her I use low carb
tortillas and usually use hummus as a spread then meat, shredded cheese or 
sliced, and finishing with shredded lettuce or clover sprouts. Fairly quick and

easy to make and easy and non messy to eat!

It has long been (and still is) a big problem; dealing with the after effects
of 
war. The treatment our wounded vet's get when they come home is shameful 
(medical treatment that is). There's a big local story here about a Msgt 
reservist that went to Iraq, got wounded, came home could not do his civilian 
job, so he lost that, Could no longer serve so he got "abandoned" and has 
had to fight for his disability payments. Everybody was pointing fingers at 
everybody else claiming it was "their" responsibility and doing everything they

could to avoid being "it". Finally he got Sen Patty Murray's attention and 
she's been fighting for him and finally getting some success.
