I wonder how many of his homers were squeak-over-the-line jobs.
Not sure at all that the difference was that significant, except
to the guy's confidence. And were it so, what's the difference
between some guy juicing himself up on androgens and Babe Ruth
and his naturally overactive glands?

Perhaps the scientific weight training did him some good, too.
But what I was implying was that I had a hormonal change in
the 30s, and maybe that accounts for some of the famous added
Bonds bulk.

      Title: CUCUMBER JUICE
 Categories: Drinks, Medical, Juices, Chinese, TCM
   Servings: 1

      1    Watermelon
           -with skin and seeds
           -removed
      1 sm Cucumber
           -with skin and seeds
           -removed
      1 L  Water, mineral

Mix all the ingredients together and blend. If a blender is not
available, the ingredients should be finely chopped before
mixing.
