Maybe, if you are ambitious to grow the board. What are you looking
for the board to do? A bigger board might give you visibility (if
that's what you're interested in) and a feeling of contributing
something to the general welfare, but it also comes with a price -
you get sort of committed to keep working on it even when you
don't feel like it, plus there is the issue of pesky users, which
are pretty inevitable in this world. If you're looking for revenue,
that's a toughie. Even in the heyday of BBSing my sysop friends
seldom broke even, some of them with great disappointment.

I am sorry to hear that. I was of the impression that you
enjoyed spicy food. Any particular ingredients in the
curry mix that you can identify as causing difficulty?

Thanks for that too. After this next bunch of music (July 4 stuff)
and after Carol runs away again I'll take an afternoon off and check
it out. Late in the week or maybe next weekend.

Empanada - Meat Turnover
cat: starter
yield: 20

1 lb ground beef
1 clove garlic, minced
- or 1/2 ts garlic powder
1 sm onion, minced
1 c diced potatoes
1 ts salt
1/4 ts pepper
1/2 c seedless raisins
h - Pastry
- Ready-made pie-crust mix may also be used
3 c all-purpose flour
4 Tb sugar
1/2 ts salt
1/2 c water
1/3 c oil
3  egg yolks (plus some egg whites for sealing empanadas)

Brown ground beef. Push meat to one side and saute garlic until
brown; add onion. Mix the meat, garlic, and onion, then add
potatoes. Stir and cook until potatoes are tender. Season to
taste and mix in raisins.

Mix and knead all ingredients until dough is soft. On a
floured board roll out 1/8" thick. Cut into 4 - 5" circles
(use wide-mouthed jar or cup for cutting circles). Put a
spoonful of meat filling in center of each circle. Fold to
half-moon shape, wet edges with egg white, press and seal
sides. Deep fry until golden brown and drain. Or, instead
of deep frying, pies can be baked at 425 F for 15-20 min
or until golden brown.
