I'm going to riff this message off of Michael's tastings posts
because I was only in the kitchen sporadically on Sunday and
ended up not taking notes.  Some of these items I didn't get
to try.

ML> My Gourmet brand tuna products were the first appetizer

ML> A medium-spicy tuna spread was tuna salad with some red oil
ML> floating on it - a modest spiciness, otherwise what you might
ML> get at a sandwich shop or make yourself;

This was OK, but the texture was strange and I couldn't identify
all of the ingredients in it.

ML> green curry tuna - a simple taste of tuna and raw green curry
ML> paste, decent and fairly spicy but not very exciting. 

Dave no like; tasted funny to me.  My tastes re: tuna are pretty
plebian - chopped onion, chopped celery, mayo, maybe some relish
mixed in.  I find it hard to get excited about new tuna trends. [g]

ML> Ruth also brought pork meat balls - 

Awesome, I loved these; Lynn and I finished up the last of them 
for breakfast today.

ML> Madame Shel-Lee's Chinese mustard from Williams-Sonoma

LOL!  Madame Shel-Lee!  Shelly!  Haw haw haw!  That mustard was,
quite frankly, some of the worst-tasting brown sludge ever 
drooled into a bottle.  Pretty typical of Williams-Sonoma from
my experience.

ML> pickled beef tongue 

Delicious; wish it weren't so expensive. I tried to get Maryanne
and Lynn to at least taste it but they flat-out refused.  Too bad,
it was marvelous and brought back memories of tongue sandwiches
as a kid.

ML> Manny made a very creamy cole slaw

It was okay, I guess, but I found it to be too filled with mayo
and too bland.  Sorry, Manny.  Loved the matzoh brei though.

ML> Joan made a rather spicy gazpacho that I downed a big cup of

Ditto.  It was excellent and very refreshing.  I confess that I
bumped my second serving with a wee bit of vodka which made it
taste like kind of a chunky bloody Mary.  I was going to mention
that to Michael, but he was trying very hard to limit his 
consumption, so I remained shtoom.

ML> ribs

Time for a new thermometer on the smoker.  The rib ends got too
dried out, though the rest of the meat was fall-off-the-bone
tender.

ML> Ruth had made Lebkuchen, German-style spice bars; 

I prefer Ruth's firm cookies to the cake-like version.  
Crunchy rules.

ML> Shipps' pecan-peach bread pudding

I had two huge helpings of that, with and without sauce.  
Because I have been weaning myself from high-sugar-content
foods, I found the pudding with sauce to be a little too
sweet (so I used less sauce than I would have a year or two
ago) but the basic pudding itself was gorgeous.  Bread 
pudding is a special weakness of mine; a comfort food that
my mother and grandmother made often when we were kids.
