Same here but if I do make it and have my household goods, I'll make'em up for
you guys.  I'd need 2 crockpots to do it 'right' as i'd like to make one of
them 'traditional' (extremely salty but you have to taste them to understand
why thats 'right') and one that is a lower salt but spicy hot version I've
devised now.  I'll post that later but needs a bit more tweaking still befopre
I finalize the MM version.

Here's how it goes though and we have some working now (I'm gently getting to
cooking mood again and want to make stuff my last weekend home for a long
while).  Using the baby crock, I added raw p[eanuts in shell to almost fill,
then 3 TB of my Datu Puti brand soy sauce (the one that's 310mg sodium per
TB).
To this I also added 7 garlic cloves (whole) and 1 TS of my red chile pepper
from Korea.  There's about 4 cups of peanuts in the shell for the volume. 
Then, water enough to fill most of the pot and the glass lid to hold it all
down.  It still wont be 'low sodium' but I have a feeling it will work well
enough and Don should be ok to have a cup a day of them.  Estimate 275mg
sodium per cup plus whatever peanuts themselves have.  We decided to call it
600mg per cup to be on the safe side as we arent sure of the peanuts
themselves and as an occasional treat, supportable.

Strted them Friday evening so by tomorrow they will be developed enough though
better by Sunday night.
