Ugh.  Denny's.  I'd sooner eat the kibble from a petting zoo
vending machine than ever eat at a Denny's again.

I don't mind Cracker Barrel's food (for the most part.)  I 
hate the faux "y'all come back now" atmosphere, and I especially
hate the complete lack of any sound-absorbing material inside
the dining areas.  It's like eating inside a missile silo.

I will still go to a Hometown Buffet, but only on certain nights
(such as when they have fried chicken - their fried chicken is
great.) When Lynn was small, we went there frequently because 
their pricing for children was ridiculously low.  The quality
has slipped quite a bit lately, though.  I don't seem to have the
appetite for standard AYCEs anymore, too.  (A good Asian seafood
buffet, though...that's different, especially if they have crabs
on the table.)

We have an Outback in town.  Maryanne and I would like to try it,
but the crowds have kept us away.

There's a Lone Star in West Springfield.  It is not nearly as good
as Texas Roadhouse, so we continue to return to TR when we're in 
a steakhouse mood, but if a member of our party wanted to eat there
I would be polite. [g]

Here again, I completely agree with you here.  Consistency is
not as important to me as novelty, and I prefer to try dumpy
little local restaurants.  I've been burned a few times, too,
but that's part of the charm, eh?

Cut 'em a break - Vegas is the middle of the desert. [g]

I got the quad to live the Total BK Stacker Experience. It
was huge and a little sickening and I have not gotten another
since.
