Zing! A palpable miss. I never have "bog head." Big head, maybe.

I've handled cats hundreds of times and occasionally have been
scratched. I never put alcohol or mercurochrome (whatever became
of that?) on it, preferring the danger of cat scratch fever to
the sting of the first aid. Never got cat scratch fever or
tetanus, either.

The additional sugar content might make the difference for
those who find lemons straight up to be just a tad too zesty.

I didn't detect more than a trace of alcohol in the, stench,
I mean aroma. I note that there was some headspace in the jar,
so I'd vote for water evaporation leading to air leakage
leading to oxidation.

      Title: Curried Yogurt Dip
 Categories: Indian, Appetizers
   Servings: 20

      1 c  Plain nonfat yogurt
    1/2 ts Tumeric
      1 ts Grated fresh gingerroot
      2 tb Lemon juice
    1/4 ts Coriander powder
      1 pn Cayenne pepper
      2 tb Minced fresh cilantro

  Combine all ingredients except cilantro.

  Chill for one hour.

  Garnish with cilantro.

  Per serving: (2 tablespoons): 13 cal, 12 g prot, 17 mg sod, 2 g carb, 0 g
  fat, 0 mg chol, 46 mg calcium
