Well, if I could afford to put about $2000 into WINServer and all the
needed programs as well as the steep learning curve, I'd try it out, but
that's a heck of a lot of money to "try" something.  I've always liked
other things besides Wildcat - not that I think that there is anything
wrong with it - but here's something you may not know: I have a history
with Telegard.  I helped develop the OS/2 version, got some nice added
features put in it and was featured in the manual (as well as mentioned
in the credits), so I do have a bias towards Telegard. :)

SLMR hasn't truncated any lines.  It's CMPqwk as I've tried it on the
same message with six different mail readers.  Derek isn't sure why it's
cutting them like that.

I've run Maximus, Synchronet, Spitfire, Searchlight, ProBoard,
AdeptXBBS, Wildcat! (trial version), RemoteAccess, Sauron, JetBBS,
Telegard, Renegade, TriBBS...there's many more that I can't think of
(it's 12:15 AM and I'm rather sleepy).  I have Telix here - that brings
back many happy memories of being over at a friend's house using his
computer to call all the local boards...those were the days. :)

The sysop that got me running my own board ran RBBS too.  I've never run
Citadel though.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06

      Title: Sliced Steak With Mushrooms
 Categories: Main
      Yield: 2 Servings

    3/4 lb Sirloin
    1/4 lb Shiitake mushrooms (Bud
           Zilko, you may use morels)
      1    Garlic, mashed
           Olive oil (clarified butter
           Ok)
    1/8 c  Stock
    1/4 c  Dry red wine
    1/8 c  Balsamic vinegar
           Knob of butter
      2 sl Toast

  Cut meat into matchsticks. Cut mushrooms into matchsticks.

  Sizzle garlic in oil. When oil is hot, remove the garlic and add
  meat. Stir constantly for 30 sec over high heat. Add mushrooms and
  cook for 30 sec. Remove meat and mushrooms to a warm plate. Deglaze
  with stock, wine, and vinegar. Add butter and swirl in. Add meat and
  mushrooms and toss to coat. Portion over toast.

  Ate this with an '89 Johannisberger Erntebringer kabinett, which
  despite being a strange match was the richest wine available, all the
  good stuff being at a friend's cellar. It actually went okay (no
  fireworks, but neither dish was damaged).
