Happy hunting!  At least now with it seems everybody & their brother or
sister who own a small business,a web site usually goes along with it
and hunting down the obscure is easier now.

We have a bag in our freezer right now. (G)  Steve likes them bettr than
I do; they're OK but not chocolate. (G)

Seek and ye shall find doesn't always give a good idea of how long or
where you have to seek; it just says that  ye will find.

OK, over here I see the flake form all the time and rice or mochi flour
as the fine stuff.

I've only seen the white rice variety; Steve would go for the brown rice
one if I could find it.

The common name over here is "Japanese bread crumbs"; that's why I
thought it was a wheat product.

And you've been home only about a week.  We had to take a couple to the
airport on Monday; they were flying in to Tokyo and taking the bullet
train to Misawa.  She told me that their luggage had to go on a separate
freight train & was hoping it wouldn't get lost; I assured her that it's
probably down to a science over there.  We pick them up next Tuesday;
it'll be interesting to hear their tales.
