  Messages start out on their journey via several methods.  In your case
  it is directly entered into Doc's system when you hit the send button.
  In my case, it "starts out" whenever I close the reply packet for my
  OLR (BlueWave).

   More likely when it was written -- although some BBSes replace the
   time stamp put on by an OLR and enter their own.

   Just to add to the confusion -- are you aware that sometimes posts
   from xxCarol get to Doc's with a date of tomorrow?


MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: Marinated Brochettes of Lamb with Honey
 Categories: Meat
      Yield: 4 servings
 
  1 1/2 lb Loin or Leg of Lamb
      4 tb Lemon Juice, fresh
    1/2 c  Dry Red Wine
    1/3 c  Honey
      1 tb Rosemary
      1 tb Garlic, finely chopped
      2 ts Cumin, ground
           Salt
           Black Pepper, freshly ground
      2    Red Peppers, 2" squares
      2    White Onions, large, 2" sq.
      1    Eggplant, 2" squares
    1/2 c  Coriander or Parsley
 
  Cut the lamb into 16 2" cubes. Combine the lamb with lemon juice,
  olive oil, wine, honey, rosemary, garlic, cumin, salt and pepper.
  Blend well, cover with plastic wrap and marinate for 15 minutes.
  Preheat the oven broiler or a charcoal grill. If wooden skewers are
  used, soak them in cold water until ready to use. Drain the meat,
  reserving the marinade, and arrange the meat on 4 skewers,
  alternating with red pepper, onion and eggplant squares. Broil under
  high heat 3 minutes for rare on each side, brushing with the reserved
  marinade. This can also work with pork or chicken. Serves 4. From The
