 You've been off traveling and having fun, not sitting home
 and reading the business pages! The suspect batteries were
 all or mostly made by Sony and sold as components to Dell,
 Compaq, Apple and several other laptop makers.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05

      Title: Csipetke (Hungarian Dumplings)
 Categories: Hungarian, Pasta, Noodles
      Yield: 6 Servings

      2 c  All-purpose flour
    1/2 t  Salt
      2    Eggs
      3 c  Canned beef broth
    1/4 c  Butter, melted (1/2-stick)
      1 T  Caraway seeds

     Combine flour and salt in large bowl. Make well in center and place
  eggs in well. Using fork, gradually mix flour into eggs to form stiff
  dough. Transfer dough to lightly floured work surface and knead
  vigorously, adding a few drops of water as necessary, until dough is
  smooth and pliable. To cook dumplings, pour broth into saucepan and
  bring to simmer on medium heat. Pull off pieces of dough (a little
  smaller than a walnut) and roll into balls between palms. Drop some
  dough balls into simmering broth, being careful not to crowd pan.
  Cook until they float to top and are cooked through, about 5 minutes.
  Meanwhile, combine butter and caraway seeds in medium saucepan over
  very low heat. Using slotted spoon, transfer cooked dumplings to
  melted butter mixture and toss. Cook remaining dumplings in same
  manner. Serve as an accompaniment with thick-style goulash.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05

      Title: Bogracs Goulash Great Plains Style (Alfoldi Bogracsgulyas
 Categories: Stew, Hungarian, Beef
      Yield: 8 servings

  1 1/2 lb Lean beef flank (700 g)
      2 ea Onions
      2 ea Carrots
      2 ea Parsnips
  1 1/2 lb Potatoes (700 g)
      1 ea Caraway seeds to taste
      1 ea Red paprika to taste
      1 ea Salt to taste
      1 ea Hot paprika to taste
      2 ea Green peppers, or 3
      1 ea Tomato

  1 ea recipe noodle dough for csipetke*

  (Recipe given as typed, including spelling) "Cut 70 dkg of think beef
  flank into cubes. Sautez 2 finely chopped onions, then add 2 sliced
  carrots and parsnips and 70 dkg of diced potatoes. Season with
  caraway seeds, red paprika, salt and hot paprika to taste. Simmer
  over a gentle flame with 2-3 green peppers, 1 tomato and a little
  amount of water. When the meat is tender, cook csipetke noodles in

  * Csipetke noodles are little dumplings made by pinching off little
  bits of noodle dough and dropping them in a boiling stock or stew. I
  cheat by using commercial egg noodles because I like them, but my
  grandmother (not a Hungarian, BTW), taught me to make noodles from "1
  egg, 1 T cream, 1 t salt and as much flour as could be incorporated",
  and this wouldn't be a bad way to try to make csipetke, I guess!
