Grin, same here but i almost upset someone here over my rant on breast meat so
kinda got easier on it <G>.

Oddly some time back we had a glut of that boneless chicken brest stuff so got
some.  That was about xmas and i still have 2 of the 8 brests leftover in the
freezer. It was 89cents a lb.  What you'd call a 'loss leader' sale except
with a captive market here it was more like an overglut they had to get rid of
fast.

I think they made a mistake and ordered too much then had the next batch due in
and had to make space.  It's since gone up to the proper Sasebo price of 4.99$
a lb for the cheaper version and 6.99$ for the 'brand name'.

Grin, my chest freezer here now is partly filled with stuff for Susan.  It's in
return for a simple shopping trip for me so now I have some food here of the
stuff I was out of.  Back is better today but i still am not up to a shopping
trip.

Mild digression.  My breadmaker is out on loan.  Flock attack came over to
check on me and drop off goodies.  They want to experiment with it and have a
more mobile dad who's happy to pander to that.  Jonesie (I've mentioned him)
is the dad this time and ?Sakara? is wanting to learn (young cook, about 15?
new tenant as her Mom just moved in with her military dad).  Sakara is
phonetic and may be a nickname.  Her younger brother is Japanese and her older
sister is not so we are looking at second marriage mixing.  Her english is
good but she was too busy playing with the flock to do more than bow a polite
intro and ask how I was then ask if she could check out the breadmaker she was
hearing about as her mom cant bake and her dad likes fresh bread <g>.

Jonesie wants to make dough the easy way and see how that goes so it was a
match.  He's the one who makes pita breads.

Jesus dropped off some pancit and borrowed my dehydrator.  Gosh that sounds
funny!  He's filipeno.  Navy spouse and his wife is a 'master at arms' (cop)
at the local base.  'Jay sas' is how it's said.  He has a lite bit of fun with
his name.

Jesus found a sale on mushrooms so is drying the extra up and I get a tray
worth of the 8 trays!  Expect mushroom dishes soonish <g>.
