  I'd agree with your definition.  When we buy cider in the stores, it
  is cloudy.   I once went to a cider press nearby and watched.   They
  loaded the apples, whole, onto a conveyor that fed them into something
  that crunched them and put the slurry into racks that they stacked up
  as high as six feet.   Then they pressed, and the juice was pumped out
  from the bottom of the stack of racks into plastic tubes over to where
  it was piped into gallon plastic jugs (same as our milk comes in).

  That was all before it became illegal to sell unpasteurized cider.  I
  don't know if that place is still in operation.

MMMMM-------------------------VEGETABLES------------------------------
    1/4 lb Fresh mushrooms, sliced
      1    Green bell pepper, seeded
           And sliced
      1    Cucumber, peeled and sliced
      1    Zucchini or summer squash,
           Cubed
      1    Carrot, shredded
    1/4 lb Fresh green beans, sliced
    1/4 lb Fresh peas
      1 c  Fresh alfalfa sprouts
    1/4 c  Sliced pitted ripe olives
      4    Scallions, chopped
      2 tb Pumpkin seeds

MMMMM--------------------------MARINADE-------------------------------
      4 tb Fresh lemon juice
      4 tb Reduced-calorie Italian
           Dressing
      1 tb Dried basil, or 2 T fresh
           Basil
      1 tb Dried thyme, or 2 T fresh
           Thyme
      1 tb Dried mint, or 2 T fresh
           Mint
      1    Clove garlic, minced
           Freshly ground black pepper
           To taste

MMMMM------------------------SALAD GREENS-----------------------------
      1    Head romaine lettuce
    1/2 lb Spinach
      1 bn Leaf lettuce
 
  Place prepared vegetables in large salad bowl.  Set aside.  In a
  medium bowl, combine all marinade ingredients.  Stir to mix
  thoroughly.  Pour over vegetables.  Cover and refrigerate for at
  least 30 minutes.
  
  Meanwhile, rinse salad greens, remove stems, and tear into bite-size
  pieces.  Cover and refrigerate.  Combine marinated vegetables and
  salad greens.  Toss and serve.
