You do have the excuse that you are up to your instrument's neck in
work. I'm still struggling to continue with my last travel diary, but
it is difficult to get past reminiscing on the hedonistic pleasures of
Greek islands...

And now I have been given the job of feeding a dozen or so of Jo's
friends at a bbq - with the weather forecast temp of 41C (106F), and a
general fire ban over the whole state, including the Metropolitan
area - which means no fires outside, anywhere.  And I have about 5 kg
of beef and roo steaks, sausages and marinated chicken bits all ready
to cook.  :((

There must be an angel who guards us from ourselves, as some of us

The Kris Flyer card has one great advantage over Qantas and some of
the others; it is free.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: FREE FORM FETTA & SPINACH PIE
 Categories: Mains, Pies, Vegetarian
      Yield: 1 servings
 
      1 bn Spinach
      1 sm Onions; dice fine
      2 tb H- fennel leaves; OPT
    200 g  Fetta;Alexandria marinated
      2    Eggs; free-range
           SOUR CREAM PASTRY [2 PIES]
 
  Wash the spinach, remove stalks & roughly chop. Saute onions till
  tender. Remove from heat & cool.
  
  Crumble fetta & mix with chopped spinach, beaten eggs & chopped
  fennel. Season well.
  
  Roll pastry into a rough circle, place spinach & cheese mixture in the
  centre in a neat pile. Fold edges of the pastry over the filling in a
  circular fashion to make a rough pie. Bake at 180^C till the pastry is
  golden & crisp.
