Same here but in this case, I was referring to our house being 2 stories
and me still dealing with the bum foot.

But you don't want problems in the future.  Our kitchen is small enough
that very often I'll "hang" my cane somewhere and get around without it.
(I can actually cover a lot of area by just turning around and taking a
step or two; should see it when Steve and I are both working on our own
projects.)  Those are the times I really feel it later, especially if
I've been on my feet more than I should be (which is most of the time).

Good.  Our girls never had a proper doll house.  I wanted to get the one
my grandmother's dad made her--completely wired for electrcitiy and all
that--but when I asked my aunt about it, she'd sold it some years
before.  My parents always cited lack of room why they never took it for
me and my sisters; if they had, it would have stayed in the family.

Steve's unit is doing the day on/day off thing but he usually is home
early on the days he has to work.  Made it nice for hitting up the
commissary last week (except all the "scooters" were taken so I had to
walk it) and will be this week when we go for more.
