Life threatening and reality altering, eh?  Sounds like it should sell
for a buck a gram on the streets!

My MM now has 250,000 recipes in it but not one of them contains liver
and zucchini together. That old recipe you came across seems to have
died away completely. I tried googling another one just to horrify you
but failed. I did come across this humorous piece of self-righteous
nonsense on a health food site though:

"Zucchini, a member of the squash family, is a bland vegetable,
especially rich in sodium. And since sodium, of all the alkaline
elements of the body, is the most important, it follows that zucchini is
a most healthful vegetable. The liver is the storehouse of sodium, an
element necessary to maintain the acid-base equilibrium of the body.
Without this acid-base balance, good health is impossible to maintain.
The simple, bland zucchini, used as both food and medicine, is an ideal
way to restore a sodium exhausted liver."

"The organic sodium in zucchini, as well as in summer and crook-neck
squash, is the most ideal source of refurbishing a sodium-exhausted
liver."

Organic sodium to maintain the acid-base balance of an exhausted liver!?!
Yeah, that's the ticket.

MMMMM-----Meal-Master - formatted by MMCONV  2.10

     Title: CATFM Zucchini & Egg Frittata: (Indoor Or Outdoors)
Categories: Eggs, Vegetables
  Servings: 2

      2 TB vegetable oil
    1/2 sm onion, thinly sliced
      1 sm red potato, thinly sliced
      1    zucchini, thinly sliced
           splash soy sauce
           sprinkle Parmesan Cheese
      4    eggs, lightly beaten with
           fork

In skillet, on high heat, cook onions and potato in hot oil till onion
is transparent (approximately 2 minutes). Add zucchini, soy sauce, and
Parmesan cheese. Reduce heat to medium low. Cook 5 minutes, stirring
occasionally. Pour eggs over vegetables. Cover and cook on low heat 5
minutes. Eggs will puff like an omelet.
