Likelike (pronounced lee-key lee-key) and Kamehameha; you were close
which isn't bad for being gone for so long.  Most folks just referred to
the latter highway as "the Kam highway".  Advertiser one time ran an
article on road numbers--seems mostly used by tourists so if you asked a
native where Hwy 99 was, he couldn't tell you but if you asked where the
Kam Hwy was, you'd get directions.

We never saw Don Ho perform; he had a stem cells into the heart muscle
proceedure done last year about this time in Thailand.  From reports
this spring & summer, it has done him good but he cut back on his
performance schedule.

We didn't spend that much time downtown overall.  Went to the Hilton
Hawaiian Village once to see some friends who'd just arrived and shortly
after we did and the "Jeopardy" try outs this past February but most
times if we were in the area, we were at the Hale Koa.

White new year?  Be on the look out for a small package from Steve in
the next few days (depending on holiday mail).

It sounds like plenty enough for me!  We're supposed to have cold, wet
weather again this weekend.  You don't have to shovel rain but it can be
every bit as cold as snow.

But no Gulf Stream or similar waters to moderate the temeprature.
