It's now only notable (mildly) when sitting in my favorite postion which is 
'indian style' at the computer.  It's not troubling me at all in any other way.

I stood watch last night for 4 hours and no problems with 4 hours straight on a

steel deck other than I was freezing my ass off (hope Dale will not mind that 
;-).  It was windchill about 15F, actual temp just about 35F they say but that 
meant sleet vice snow.  Oh joy.

What really sucks (sorry Dale) is I write the watchbill and I had to do it to 
me again on 2JAN to balance things.  Ship section leader doesnt normally stanbd

watch but is 'on' 24 hours and we normally dont get but 3 hours sleep that day 
and are flying all around the ship with various things but I just have this 
problem with giving someone else 2 watches and me none, so dont do that.  The 
rules however limit me to 20-24 or 00-04 because I have duties at all other 
hours (oh and a big one at midnight) that make it impossible for me to take any

others.  Grin, sorry to 'whine' a bit.  Most of my folks just stand 4 hours and

sleep the rest of the day.  Of the 6 section leaders and 6 assistant section 
leaders, me and my 'buddy assistant' are the only ones who always take a turn 
before anyone else has 2 watches.  Needless to say, we also have the only 
section that will go all out for us when we ask them and they keep us out of 
trouble.  (The senior officers are fighting on who gets to rotate regular with 
my section).  Got a big GRIN from one today who got us and said, really smoothe

so I gotta wonder what they others are like?

Ohh.  No food words.  Um, I didnt get to eat but I keep granola bars and stuff 
like that for duty days.  The cherry ones are survival food.  I also found a 
leftover 'slimfast' can and that made 'dinner' at 1am.

You would have liked my Hawaii kitchen.  Didnt have to walk at all <g>

I have a single keepsake from my Dad's side.  Shadowbox with german kitchen.

We are on thsat same sort of schedule.  I'm off til 2JAN here.  I'm glad though

I came in and we fixed that VFH set when we did.  It was just before it got 
cold. It would *not* be fun to do it right now here.
