It just seemed odd, after not seeing it in years, to find it not only at
an Italian store (expected) but at a military commissary (unexpected).
The commissary is a rather small one so it doesn't carry very much in
the line of ethnic foods, other than standard ones.  We were surprised
our first year here to see a fairly decent assortment of lebkuchen, even
some of the big multi tin boxes. The day after Christmas I got one of
those for half price; it had about 10 or 12 different kinds of cookies
and a stollen.  Good eating!

Yes, they did; in retrospect, I think the ones we got in NY had the
boxes too.  We found a recipe for them; I'll have to see where on this
desk it landed.

BTW, thinking back, if I recall correctly, one of the young men in my
college class was from Windsor. I know you moved there recently but did
you live there before you went to Kentucky?  If so, you may know some of
his family.
