 No I'm on the extreme western end of the lake, so before most weather
 gets to me it's been over the plains for many hundreds of miles.  On
 rare occasions we will get a cold weather cell from the south and that
 can bring a little snow.   I just put up a web page showing my last
 Sundays activities.  http://qsabe.com/whimsey/winterice.html it depicts
 the most of our cold weather.  Normally air rising off the lake causes
 the bad weather patterns to go north or south of me.

 My Mom died an ugly death, that was the convincer for me to quit.

 Na, not luck, just stubborn pigheadedness.  And I could no longer
 afford ciggies at high Michigan tax prices.

 I go in fits.  We have a neat Thai place up on the corner, love the
 noodles so fiery they bring tears to my eyes.  There is a Chinese place
 across the street where I go for carry out which is excellent, funny
 that because their at the table food is not so good.  That one has
 always puzzled me.  :)
