The prep is way worse than the procedure
now that they knock you out for it! The first
one I had done .....all I got was the warning
"try and relax, this is going to be uncomfortable"
boy o boy was THAT an understatement! The
next two were much nicer but the prep still 
was awful!

No food (grin) they don't want the "customers"
pigging out just before the procedure! They had
a selection of movies to choose from, but 
basically unless you were sitting there when 
one movie ended you didn't get a choice as to
what was on. All around the place they had 
big photos of old stars, Gable and Lombard,
Gene Kelly, John Wayne and such, and 
even a few items on display as well.
a derby from "All that Jazz" and 
a few other things...my memory is
a bit fuzzy (grin)

The "dorm" that Amanda lives in (tis almost
empty during winter) has a HUGE kitchen
with LOTS of space and storage and it's 
fully equpped with most of the needed
equipment.

-> -> It was, as I hope yours was.  We'd said that on the way home, we were
-> -> not going to try I-75 as we'd run into major traffic slow downs the 2
-> -> previous years. Got away from Steve's folks about an hour earlier than
-> -> we had before so he decided to try the interstate.  Hit a slow down in
-> -> the same spot so we bailed out as soon as we could.  Got home about

-> -> with various stops, slow downs and rain.

->  hn> We stayed in as much as we could for the whole weekend.
->  hn> We enjoyed that tremendously!

-> We will do that for Christmas; the madness starts up again a few days
-> later. Our calendar is filling up with appointments, out proccessing
-> details, etc.

We do the same for Christmas, it's a family day
and unless I'm planning a photoshoot on 
new years eve we stay in on that night
just for safety's sake!
