I've known my share of people like that.  Then there are those that see
you working and know they should be but just sit there.........

It sounds so.  The military seems like that at times, especially in the
career field Steve is in.  It's smaller than some of the other branches
so he's worked with some people at multiple duty stations.

You've not come across that way to me yet.  But, I understand--if she
can't take credit for something, then there's no sense trying to give it
to her wrongly.

I see. It still sounds sort of funny.  But, then, Great Britain has been
"invaded" by other ethnic groups that have added their spiciness to the
blandness of British cooking.  It works all over the world.
