Hi Janis,

Whew! When we got married, I was 2 classes away from my BA in
sociology, minors in psychology and art. I took them the first year we
were married. Steve took a year of college after high school, then
stopped out until a year after we got married. Then it took him several
years to get his AA degree. He started work for his BS degree in
Germany, then stopped for 10 years (while we were in HI). Then it took
him not quite a year to finish a BSOE (Bachelor of Science in
Occupational Education, concentration in German, secondary areas of
English, history and some business). I've not worked much outside the
home (for pay), done lots of volunteer work that has sort of related to
my degree--working with people, teaching sewing, etc.

We were the same way.

JK> That's incredible.. thinking about the commissary having natural and
JK> organic foods.. I guess it is taking off in this country <grin>

To some degree, yes. Probably as more and more people become aware of
what's really in food. There are so many young adults that have no idea
of farm raised foods--thinking it all comes from factories--that this
may wake them up to where real food comes from.

JK> She uses honey, but doesn't like to over do it. I guess in some
JK> recipes sucronot works better, texture-wise.

We picked up a bit at Brighter Day today. It'll be interesting to try.

JK> Yes, I did the same with mine before the KA.. I'm trying to remember
JK> the mixer.. I think it wasn't oster, but similar.. I still have the
JK> bowls here, will have to check :)

JK> off to make dinner.. kinda late, guess I'll do something lazy <grin>

Better late than never. And, simple is as good as gourmet when you're
hungry. (G)
