When we used to have the satellite shop one of my favourite breakfasts was a
brace of Hardee's sausage & egg biscuits picked up on the way to work. Then,
when I got to the office I'd combine the fillings into one biscuit sammich with
a slathering of Taco Bell hot sauce. Which left me with a biscuit.

That went into the parking lot for the neighbourhood sparrows and wrens who
seemed to have a radar thing going ... within 30 seconds the parking lot would
be scuppers full with little brown birds doing their thing in deconstructing
and eating that biscuit.   Bv)=

And once in a while Albert Ross or one of his seagull cousins would fly by and
chase all the smaller birds away. Which outraged my sense of fair play. I tried
shooting them with my blow-gun (using piano wire darts) which may have done for
Mr. Gull eventually ... but more that one flew away with half a biscuit in its
beak and a yellow fletched dart buried in its breast. So, I escalated to a pump
up air rifle and pellets. 

Which created a diferent problem. If I managed to snuff the big bird then all
his friends came to the funeral and argued over the remains.

We also got the occasional large black bird (I don't know the difference
between a crow and a raven) that had a cry of a loud RAWWWWKKKK! RAWWWWKKKK!
The pellet gun thinned them out as well.   Bv)=

  1 1/2 oz Dark rum
    1/2 oz Brandy
    1/2 oz Peach brandy
    1/2 oz Simple syrup
    1/4 oz Fresh lime juice
    1/4 oz Fresh lemon juice
 
  Shake over ice and strain into a chilled Champagne flute.
