He learned a long time ago what shears are to be used for cutting fabric
and which were acceptable for cutting paper.  The handles are color
coded.

Then the sap to finished syrup ratio is higher as well?  Or is it that
they are harder to tap?

Cats get into all kinds of trouble with train lay outs.  The cat my
folks currently have loves to play "Destroyer" whenever she's down in
the cellar.  Dad has an extensive layout down there but has to keep
fixing things that the cat knocks over or breaks.

Not that good I guess? OTOH, the ones Steve's mom made were quite good.
One of his uncles and one of his brothers got into a contest once to see
who could eat the most (this was before I met Steve).  The winner ate
23, the loser, 22.  I understand they had salad, bread, meat balls &
everything else before getting serious about eating just the ravioli so
they were quite full when they finished.

No, even for two people, it's a lot of fuss and bother. Today is another
warm day so we picked up a chicken at the commissary & Steve put it on
the grill to smoke.  Supper tonight, dinner tomorrow and several other
meals before it is eaten up.
