It's been so long since I had a really 
good HOT salsa...and no chips to dip
it with (grin).
For New Years Breakfast I made
Southern Cornbread (no sugar) and
added diced onion and diced jalapeno's
(8 of em!!) seeded and deveined for
Anne's sake....came out superb!!
And blackeyed peas with smoked
porkshanks...oh baby was that 
good!

I had entertained the notion of 
going out and shooting the 
fireworks display off the Space
Needle, but the weather was 
just inclement enough to knock
that idea out...so we stayed home
and watched old movies. I got a 
50 movie pack of old westerns
for Christmas...old movies 
with Roy and Gabby, and Tex
Ritter and others...the kind
we used to watch at the
saturday matinee's as kids!
Also got a 50 movie pack of
old Sci Fi movies...some of
the best of the worst of
the B movies! They are so
bad they are fun to watch!
