Life-style has a lot to do with it.  :)  You might just have to go down
there and bring her up to NY... and show her that (as long as she stays
put inside) winter's not half bad up here... (G)  If you can't do it
right at the end of Feb when she runs out of money... maybe shortly
later, when she's ready to be rescued?  ;)  Your sister's house doesn't
sound like much of a good place for her... on almost any level...

It's hard to change, though.  We have friends at church who have been
trying to get her mother to move up here to Rochester... and the mom's
mostly convinced that it would be a good idea (she'd be starting out
probably in her own apartment first, and then to more assisted
situations as (or if) her needs change)... until she thinks about the
winters here...  she's also in Florida...  She's been up many a visit,
various times of year, and I've been able to get to know her somewhat.

By then, she'll no doubt be VERY ready to not have to still deal with
your sister...?  Once she's up with you, she'll probably be wondering
why she took so long to do it.  :)
