That wasn't an ad FOR HFCS though...the
ones we've seen have a person refusing
somthing that contains HFCS and the other
person giving them a bad time about it.

-> Yesterday Steve picked up a few things at the commissary for me,
-> including ginger snaps for the sauerbraten to be.  He came home & told
-> me he had his choice for those between partially hydrogenated shortening
-> and preservatives so picked the former. It's getting harder & harder to
-> find good food.

It really is if you buy much processed stuff.
We tend to buy fresh fruits and veggies, and
only a few items that are canned or frozen. 
Even that is not a sure way to avoid
the "evils" though.

-> -> weight in my stomach the rest of the day.  Usually we only go to places

I like carbs, but realize that it's better 
for me to avoid them for the most part. 
Those that I do take I try to take in the
form of fresh veggies and whole grains.

It's hard to mess up breakfast, but some 
places manage to do it. There is a place
where my retiree breakfast meets once a
month...I sometimes order the #1 special.
2eggs, pancake, bacon or sausage and 
hashbrowns and toast...the pancake is 
the size of a plate! everything else comes
on side plates! One of my friends orders
the 1/2 order of sausage biscuits and gravy.
and he can barely finsih it!

-> in our school that wouldn't let us watch the game on the cafeteria
-> television.  The last out was made just before class (and school) got
