That would be logical, as it is closer to the flight deck, but it
doesn't fit the general public's image of a terrorist.

Hmmm.  That is a lot.  An average of about one flight every second day.
It is not surprising that you would get to be recognised when
travelling your favourite routes.

I would expect them to be able to afford to buy new ones, of the type
you had in mind for future chomping.

Is that bigger or smaller than a cricket ball?  (At first glance, with
early morning eyes, I read that as "basketball", which surprised me.)

There is "good guff" and "bad guff", but over the years, the bad guff
meaning has gone, together with other imprecise, achaic terms such as
fathoms, miles, chains, gallons, drams, ounces and other remnants of
British imperialism.  The verb, "to blow" could also be misinterpreted.

As someone once said about another country coupling, "Two countries
separated by a common language."

      Title: Bush Crickets
 Categories: 
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
           Crickets
           Salt
           Oil ;OPT
           Onions ;chopped
           Tomatoes ;chopped
           Flour
 
  These large green crickets swarm at street lights in April and May.
  Their long antennae distinguish them from locusts and grasshoppers.
  To prepare, remove the wings and the horned part of the legs. Boil
  them for 5 minutes and then dry in the sun or at a low temperature in
  the oven. Winnow away the wings if any remain by tossing them gently
  into the air, allowing the wings to blow away. If you are not skilled
  at winnowing, simply pick them out. Fry in a pan with salt. These may
  need a touch of added fat to fry or roast. Larger grasshoppers may be
  turned into a main course by frying with chopped onion, tomato, and a
  little flour.
