Ärende: The attack of the not-so-killer mouse

I had a mouse in the house.  Actually, I had a mouse in my computer room. 
He was a bold little sucker; I caught him camped out on top of a curtain
rod, away from the cats.  Thelma the klepto kitty was all over the room
trying to get her paws on him to no avail.  This escapade tore my attention
away from the Superbowl, and even the Superbowl commercials.

The first time, I grabbed a camera and took pictures of him.  Mouse didn't
move.  Then I grabbed a plastic bag.  Mouse didn't move.  Then I tried to
slap the plastic bag over him.  Mouse jumped from curtain rod to book case. 
I slapped the plastic bag over him then, trying not to squish the critter.

The mouse jumped OUT of the bag, ran over me and down my arm, and jumped to
the floor.  The cat tried to get to the mouse.  No dice - the mouse ran
under a chair and escaped.  

Temporarily.  I heard a weird rattling behind me.  The mouse had climbed up
the window screen and was hanging there by all four feet.  I grabbed my
handy plastic bag and tried to grab the mouse.  Was the mouse in the bag?

Nope - I had the bag all the way to the front door before realizing it felt
rather light.  No mouse.  The mouse thought it was smarter than I am, but
... more of that in a second.  Needless to say I ended up laughing so hard
I gave myself a headache.  But that mouse wasn't done; he just had to hang
out with my curtains.

The third time was the charm.  I heard rattling again and saw the mouse on
top of a curtain rod.  Again.  That mouse liked my curtains.  I grabbed a
plastic box with a lid and went after him.  He was hanging on to the back
of the curtain, and staying very still.  I scraped him into the box with
the lid and slapped the lid on.  
  
I took him out the front door and pitched him into the snow.  Once he
figured out that he wasn't dead (and that my cats hadn't followed him out)
he took off.  The dumb cats didn't want the mouse once I caught it for
them. Go figure.  He'll probably show back up eventually.
