Hi Carol,

>> CONTINUED FROM PREVIOUS MESSAGE <<

 > Our Jenny-cat would sit on top of the tank, looking down in for hours.
 > Every once in a while, a paw would come down the side and be withdrawn

CS> Daisy isnt allowed up on the tank top. The only spot she can leap to,
CS> has a 1.5ft godzillla telling her 'come play with me, heheehe'
CS> blocking her. But, we have one of those kitty perches of just one
CS> level that's purrfect on the floor to stand on and watch'kitty TV'
CS> from right at the front of the tank. All furniture is carefully placed
CS> so she cant get at the tank except that way. See, had a cat once crash
CS> through a hood and dang near start an
CS> electrical fire many moons ago. Hence, I am real careful of that
CS> scenario unless the hood is deigned to hand it and this one is not.

We never had the problem but I can see your skittishness. Jenny never
liked the proper cat perches, toys, etc. Then, too, she was abused as a
kitten and put into a shelter; that could explain some of her unusual
likes & dislikes. She'd rather drink water from a running faucet than
still water in a dish.

 > Save a seat for me. (G)

CS> At a kitchen table at a picnic? LOL!

Of course!

 > CS> be best as we wont want 2 in there all the time and they are kinda

 > Besides, how often do you need 2 picnic tables? If you do host the

CS> Yes, That would be just the ticket!

If we make it, and right now that's still uncertain. We may have to
shift plans and head out west; that's Plan B.

CS> I'm pricing decent tables with attached seating. I think it's safer
CS> with our crowd if you dont have to worry if someone rocks a bit if the
CS> 'bench' cant be flipped over because it's attached. I'm looking at
CS> ones with a back to them as well but also at just a secondary table
CS> with some comfy plastic seats of a sturdy type with arms that can be
CS> stacked and a large long almost card table thing would work in
CS> addition to the picnic table.

Sounds good. Our seats have no backs and you have to be careful not to
kick the table supports. One plus is that it does have a hole for an
umbrella (which we've got) for shade.

CS> I think we all do at certain levels. We just may not be aware of it
 CS> all the time?

Yes, and living in a certain region will help us pick up the
cooking/eating from there easier--as we have found out. (G)

 > CS> I know. I'm weird. Even developed a new one. Cajasian.
 > CS> Cajun-asian. I'll start doling out some of the new taste sensations
 > CS> shortly ;-)
 CS> >
 > Sort of like spicy Chinese?

CS> Well some chinese is very spicy! It's more a different treatment.
CS> Think, octopus gumbo for starts? Old Bay Tempura fried asian
 CS> eggplant.

Sounds like an interesting idea.

CS> What can I say, I like to play with my food and Mom tried to teach me
CS> not to but wasnt too successful obviously (grin).

OTOH, my mom insisted on very pedestrian cooking so my dad would eat it.
Moved away from home and that kind of cooking; now he's a bit more
adventuous when eating with us.
