Yes, I know. We'll never be gazillionaires but we're so much richer in
other ways.

Nice!  In 2007, my mom got a nice settlement from a stock that had split
and resplit over a good numbr of years, the company bought out, buyer
bought out several times, etc. It was originally one of the firms my
grandfather had bought stock in years ago & he passed away 51 years ago.

Yes but after having some problems with our Ford recently, I'd be a bit
hesitant to go with them.  Figured our car is either a Monday pm or
Friday am (not as bad as Monday am or Friday pm but enough little "bugs"
in it) from what's had to be fixed over the not quite 3 years we've had
it.  Extended warrantee gives us a rental if ours is in the shop over
night tho.  This time we had trouble with the air bag sensor on the
passenger side; the shop had to call Ford to get the "fix" for it.

But occaisonally you get storms like you had Christmas time.  Those are
ones where you hope you have a good supply of canned gooed,, a freezer
full of stuff and the pantry full.  Also hope that the power stays on so
you can cook. (G)

Ours is supposed to stay at about 72 but the thermometer we get shows an
actual reading of 69 quite often in the winter.  I'll wear a couple of
layers, adding more if needs be, to keep warm.  Depends on how busy I
am.
