Quaker Buttered Popped Corn rice cakes - mostly, just ordinary
rice cakes but with a slight sweaty unpleasant aroma. Not in
any way (aside from the odd mottled color) reminiscent of
buttered popped corn. Ingredients: whole grain brown rice,
corn (with germ removed), salt, natural butter flavor with
other natural flavors (contains egg ingredients). CONTAINS
EGG INGREDIENTS. MAY CONTAIN TRACES OF PEANUTS. Why put
egg ingredients in popcorn-flavored rice cakes?

Cedars sundried tomato and basil hommus - basil aroma,
good tomato-basil flavor, slightly tart; a bit of a beany
aftertaste. Not unpleasant but I missed garlic, which is
listed between basil and gum arabic in the ingredients.

Ocean Spray white cranberry (white cranberry juice drink
blended with another juice from concentrate). Contains 23%
juice. Ingredients: filtered water, white grape juice from
concentrate, cane or beet sugar, white cranberry juice from
concentrate, citric acid, natural flavor, sodium citrate,
ascorbic acid.
 Hello! We're the family of Ocean Spray growers, farming
 our cranberry bogs for over 75 years. Our "wonderberries"
 have almost magical nutrients. (Native Americans believed
 in their healing powers, introducing them to the Pilgrims
 that first Thanksgiving!) And each of our juices has a
 one-of-a-kind, delicions flavor from the goodness only
 nature provides. We've worked hard to turn our "wonderberries"
 into something mighty wonder-ful. Enjoy in good health!

 Can we make a sweeter cranberry juice? Naturally! We just
 harvest our white berries in the summer when they're less
 tart. Our juices strengthen your immune system with a
 daily dose of Vitamin C. And, of course, they're naturally
 sweetened with no artificial colors or flavors. A sweeter,
 milder cranberry juice? How refreshing!

On opening, a very unnatural aroma that called blue raspberry
to mind. On the palate, bland, sweetish, hardly any flavor at
all. I mixed it with Polar raspberry-lime seltzer, and the
raspberry taste just jumped out.

Nestle Juicy Juice 100% juice kiwi strawberry - I'd bet that
there's not more than 10% kiwi or strawberry juice in this.
The ingredients are apple, grape, kiwi, and strawberry
juices (the last from concentrate) in that order, with
natural flavors, vitamin C, and citric acid. The taste is
of apple with a hint of mixed berry Jell-O, rather hollow
and insubstantial. An odd bitter pucker on the finish almost
redeemed it (this characteristic might be a demerit for
more convincingly juicy juices, but here it was the only
hint of any individuality).

Ice creams!

Dove unconditional chocolate ice cream - a glaze of Dove
chocolate on top, pretty nice; mellow and agreeable chocolate
taste. The "milk chocolate chunks" were darkish, miles above
most American milk chocolate. The whole a bit too sweet, but
the chocolate flavors quite good.

Haagen Dazs chocolate - bitter chocolate taste, which might
seem a little off to some, but I enjoyed it. Not too sweet.
Pleasant.

Haagen Dazs strawberry - slightly sour and spoiled tasting,
creamy texture. Didn't like it one bit.

Breyer's rocky road - fairly chocolaty tasting chocolate
kind of ruined by swirls of white stuff that didn't taste
like either vanilla ice cream or marshmallow but rather
served only to dilute the chocolate. Good crisp almonds
and a few chocolaty chips (okay, not wholly convincing)
thrown in to provide the rocks.
