Computers would give me a challenge tho. I'm more right brained and they
are geared toward left brained people.

(G) I named a cat Ben once because he had the same personality as the
bear on the old series "Grizzly Adams". The cat was also known as "get
out of the road, stupid cat" for obvious reasons.

I understand. The timing wasn't right for me to go for a Master's in
Special Ed, hearing impaired emphasis either. Now I don't know if I'd go
for that or something else if I've the chance.

I first saw him in TX about 22 years ago. Then he hit the big time and
had a tv show for a while; I'm pretty sure it's not on any more. I saw
him again in AZ in fall of 2000; funnier than ever.

You find them like that in Europe still now.

We had one in the Margaretville area--got milk from them until I was in
high school at least.

Good; the more kids get exposed to the way food really comes to them,
the more to carry it on for another generation.  I helped my mom can
when I was growing up so I had no problems doing it after Steve and I
got married. Then I taught a friend how to can tomatoes; the next day
she taught another of her friends how to do so.

That's probably the best way; we've cut back on the amount of sugar we
use.  What may be just sweet enough for us would not be for other
people; I don't want to make a "surprise" cake to take somewhere. (G)

You could buy separate components for the Kichen Center. We've got an
ice cream maker, pasta maker and small food proccessor that we bought
separate.  That's why I sort of don't want to give it up but it doesn't
have the power of some of the newer things like KA or Viking.

We used them, mostly for cost. I gew up on some pretty lousy store
brands of the green can; Steve's family usually (and most of them still
do) uses the green can.  He said that every once in a while his mom
would buy a chunk of parmesan (not the reggiano) and grate it herself so
he had some exposure to better parmesan. I think now she just uses the
green can.
