Yes, especially if SPD falls on a week end.  This year it was pretty
tame but in 07 and 08, River Street was a mob scene the whole week end.
Tho last year, a power outage about 10 pm Saturday night shut down the
revelry pretty quick. We've stayed here on the south side, farr from the
madd(ening) crowd.  They even dye some of the fountains green.  And, to
keep it sort of on topic food wise, there's lots of corned beef, cabbage
and green beer.

 RH> made another trip to Wake Forest over Friday/Saturday--think we have

So far, so good.  The leasing agency has been in touch with us, sending
paperwork pertinant to a take over.  What's interesting is that we
thought we'd hear from the school about campus housing by now but not
we've not had any word from them.  The kitchen cabinets have room to
stow some smaller appliances on their tops; we've not lived in a place
that allowed that since our apartment in Pacific Grove. That waswhen
Steve was attending the Defense Language Institute, just after his Basic
Training.

A varient on baclava?  Looks good--something worth the amount of fuss.
Last Saturday we had lunch in a small eatery in WF--all good southern
cooking.  Steve decided to get desserts to go; a piece of chocolate cake
for me and coconut pie for him.  There was no doubt that they were made
from scratch--the cake was almost fudgy in its texture. We will go back
there; it's not too far from where we think we'll be living & they've
got a chocolate pecan pie we want to check out. (G)
