Interesting as most everything I've read about diabetic diets emphasises
the fruits & vegetables.  Of course carbs and fats are the biggest
no-nos, with limited proteins.  Your body just seems to work backward of
that advice.

I don't know where the nearest one to us is.  I usually go for the kalua
pork and mac salad.  Steve introduced Rachel to the coconut pudding
which she really likes now.

Rachel called us today, seems their older cat (Lou) had gotten out of
the house and was picked up by Animal Control as he had no tags. Rachel
was muttering about getting out the crock pot to cook him as soon as
David and Robert got him "bailed out".  Robert walked into the house
with the cat, telling his mom to pull out the crock pot.  She told him
that she was just kidding so he insisted that he wanted her to cook him,
he loved Lou Stew.  Of course she didn't cook him.

A good Jaegerschnitzel with the above side and rot kraut is usually an
easy choice for me.
