The Mariner's new slogan this year is:

So far the new manager Wakamatsu
(Called "Wok" by the fans) has made that
ring pretty true. From what I am hearing 
from Locker room insiders, the attitude
and chemistry has gotten better as well.
He's shaken up a lot of things like moving 
locker assignments so there are no "cliques"
and not exempting anyone from batting 
practice.

too.  The Sox will be here next month, should
be a good series!! Not a series I can get free
tix for and I'm working all three anyway. Tonight
is my first night "off"..although I worked a non 
baseball event all day, I won't be at the park
for tonight's game...so far I've done a lot
of training of the rookies...and one night as
a trainee myself as the "second in command",
not that I did anything. (grin)
