Having been in NYS in Spring, I know how uplifting that is.

That should be OK if you can stay ahead of the demand.  I have a 40
year old drier, but I rarely use it, as it takes a lot of power and
steams up the laundry.  I use the rotary clothes hoist in the back
garden, or the line under the car port if rain is likely.

That is what they tell me, also, but then I get asked to advise on a
recipe, assist in preparation, and then show how something is done.  I
don't mind, as I like to keep active.

The greatest danger is that you might like it here and want to keep
coming back.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
 
      Title: GINGER PORK NOODLES
 Categories: Australian, Asian, Pork, Mince
      Yield: 4 Servings
 
    500 g  Lean pork mince
      2 T  Sesame oil
      1    Onion, sliced
  2 1/2    Cm piece of ginger, grated
      3    Cloves garlic, crushed
      3 T  Oyster sauce
      2 T  Soy sauce, to taste
    500 g  Egg noodles, well drained
      3 c  Chicken or beef stock
    400 g  Stir-fry vegetables
 
  Heat a large non-stick pan over medium-hot heat.  Add sesame oil,
  stir-fry pork mince until it starts to brown.  Add onion, ginger,
  garlic and fry for a few minutes until fragrant.  Add oyster and soy
  sauces and chicken stock. Simmer for about 20 minutes until tender,
  add hot noodles and stir-fry vegetables like bok choy and capsicum in
  the last few minutes of cooking. Thicken sauce with cornflour if
  desired. Taste and adjust as required. Serve with chopped spring
  onions and fresh coriander.
