Errrrrmmmmm, coffee and caffeine are NOT the same thing. Not all caffeine is
found in coffee. Tea and many "soft" drinks also contain caffeine ... as well
as several foodstuffs. Including chocolate to some degree.

Yes, certainly over-caffeinating can make the hair on the back of your neck
march up and down in lock-step like a couple hits of mini-whites. But it takes
a LOT of caffeine in beverage or a concentrated form such as NO-DOZ to achieve
that effect (and such effects are the result of exceeding the recommend
dosages).

Caffeine can be synthesised in a laboratory with relative ease. No such luck on
petroleum.

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
  
      Title: Black Walnut Cottage Pudding
 Categories: Desserts, Puddings, Nuts
      Yield: 1 Pudding
 
    1/4 c  Butter
    1/2 c  Sugar
      1    Egg; well beaten
    1/4 ts Salt
      1 c  Milk
      2 c  All-purpose flour
      3 ts Baking powder
    1/2 c  Chopped black walnuts
    1/2 ts Vanilla flavoring
 
  Cream butter with sugar. Add egg. Beat thoroughly. Sift flour,
  measure and sift with baking powder and salt. Add alternately with
  milk to first mixture. Add walnuts and flavoring. Mix thoroughly
  and pour into shallow, well-oiled baking pan. Bake in moderate oven
  (375F.) 30 minutes. Serve with vanilla or hard sauce.
